Saffron Tiger has just opened a new location near Corrales, just down the road from my house. The first location is on Paseo del Norte. The new location is in the space vacated by India Palace when they closed their Westside location.

The Corrales/Alameda location has some pretty stiff competition: Namaste, the best Indian restaurant in the area, is about two miles north on Rte. 528.

Neither of these places is to be confused with Tiger Indian Express in Rio Rancho ( at 4405 Jager Dr NE, Suite E, Rio Rancho, NM 87144), which serves fast food and sit-down food.
