La Cumbre Brewing Company is an up-and coming craft brewery.
Turtle Mountain Brewing Company sent me this notice. They have fine food there. Here’s an excerpt from my review of TM:
“Turtle Mountain — Okuu’ Pin is the Tewa name for the Sandias. Translated, it means Turtle Mountain, which, if you think about it, makes more sense than “watermelon,” which is only appropriate for a few minutes each evening at sunset. Take a look next time you get a chance. The head is curled up at the north end. The tail extends down into Tijeras Canyon.
“Turtle Mountain BrewingCompany has some of the best comfort food in the Duke City area. Fine pizza, grinders, salads and designer burgers. This is quality stuff made with the freshest ingredients and well prepared. Their brews are excellent — Iadore theur IPA. Don’t overlook the simple, traditional stuff. My Green Chile Cheeseburger was beautifully prepared, succulent, and as good as any I have had locally.”
